My tasks
Your own task list, and the work you handed to someone else.
What it's for
Management → My tasks is your personal list: the tasks that are assigned to you, soonest due first. It is the same panel as the big board, but only with your work on it. A second tab, Delegated, shows what you handed to other people.
Use the board at Tasks when you want to see or create work for the whole agency; use this page to work through your own.
Before you start
- You're signed in as an Administrator.
- Something must be assigned to you, otherwise the page says "No tasks assigned to you" with "Tasks you're given appear here." Assign yourself a task from Management → Tasks with New task, or ask another Administrator to.
Steps
Open your list
In the menu on the left, click Management → My tasks. The title is My tasks and under it "Work assigned to you, soonest due first."
The same four cards are at the top (Open tasks, Overdue, Blocked, Done this week) and the same status filter: Open, Overdue, To do, In progress, Blocked, Done, Cancelled, All tasks. There is no person filter here — everything on the first tab is yours.
Switch between the two tabs
Assigned to me holds your own work. Delegated holds the parts you handed on: the subtasks of your tasks that other people are doing, and the tasks you gave creators. When some of them are still open the tab reads Delegated (2 open).
Work a task
Click a card to open the side panel, then use Move to to set In progress, Blocked or Done, with an optional note. You can also Edit it, add a Comment, attach a file and, as an Administrator, cancel it or reopen it.
Hand part of it on
On one of your own open tasks that is not already a subtask, click Add subtask. Choose who does that part, give it a title and a due date, and click Assign subtask. It then appears in your Delegated tab, and in that person's own My tasks.
What you should see
- The cards on this page don't repeat your own name, because everything is yours.
- Subtasks show a line "Part of …" with the title of the task they belong to, and the link takes you to the parent.
- After handing a part on: Subtask assigned., a history line on the subtask that names the task it came from and the person who got it, and a line on your own task such as "Added subtask “send the photos” for Jane Example."
- An empty Delegated tab says "Nothing delegated yet" with "Open one of your tasks and add a subtask for a chatter or a scheduler."
- A filter that hides everything says "Nothing matches this filter".
Test checklist
Good to know
There is no Task for a creator button on this page for an Administrator. You create tasks for creators on Tasks with New task: choose the creator in Assign to, and optionally one of their accounts.
A Manager's version of this page is different: they get Task for a creator, and they can hand parts of their tasks only to people who do not delegate themselves, such as Chatters and Schedulers. They cannot change the state of something they delegated — that stays with the person doing it.
Known issues
- The status filter is shared by both tabs. Set it to Done and both Assigned to me and Delegated show only finished work.
