Start and finish a task
Tell the agency you've started a task, then mark it as done.
What it's for
Moving a task on lets the agency see where you are without having to ask: Start when you begin, Mark as done when it's finished. You can add a short note for the agency each time.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Creator.
- You have a task with the status To do or In progress on My tasks.
Steps
Open the task
Click Management → My tasks, then click the task's card. Its panel opens on the right.
Add a note (optional)
In Note for your agency (optional), write anything the agency should know, for example "Sent the photos by email". Up to 1,000 characters.
Start the task
On a To do task, click Start (it reads Saving… for a moment). The task becomes In progress.
Finish the task
When you're done, open the task again, add a note if you like, and click Mark as done. The task becomes Done and moves to the Done list.
What you should see
- After Start: a message at the bottom right, Marked as started., and the status In progress.
- After Mark as done: Marked as done., the status Done, and the task under Done.
- History gets a new line signed You, such as "To do → In progress." or, with a note, "In progress → Done: Sent the photos by email".
- The open-task count on My accounts goes down by one when a task is done.
Test checklist
Good to know
Finished a task by mistake, or need to pick one up again? Ask the agency: only they can reopen a task.
