Test plan

One checklist to test the whole Creator portal, in order.

What it's for

This page walks through everything a Creator can do, in a sensible order, and ends with the things a Creator must not be able to do. Each step links to the page with the details.

Before you start

You need two browsers (or a normal and a private window): one signed in as the Creator, one as an Administrator to set things up. Sign in with the test accounts for these roles (the owner shares them privately).

As the Administrator, set up:

On People → Access, the creator login exists with the role Creator, and the row menu (⋯) → Creator accounts links one to three test accounts to it (Save accounts → Creator accounts saved.). Two accounts let you test the "All accounts" views.
On Operations → Requests → New request, two requests for a linked account: one to approve and one to decline. Give one of them a reference file and today as its due date (a due date can't be in the past; it shows Overdue from tomorrow). Give the first one a name in What to call them (for example "Rob"), a Sent locked for price and a Duration in minutes.
On Management → Tasks → New task, two tasks for the creator login: one with High priority and a due date of today, one with a file attached. (A due date can't be in the past, so the first one shows Overdue from tomorrow.)
On Operations → Calendar → New event, one event with Creator account set to a linked account, one with Visible to creators ticked, and one for an account that is not linked to this creator (it must stay hidden).
Note the agency rate of a linked account on Analytics → Financials → Agency rates.

Test checklist

1. Sign in and find your way

Sign in with email and the 6-digit code; you land on My analytics (Getting started).
A wrong code is refused; a new code cancels the old one.
The menu shows four groups: Analytics (My analytics, My earnings), Operations (Content requests, My calendar), Management (My tasks) and Accounts (My accounts, My prices).
The user menu shows your name and Creator; Light, Dark, System and Help & guides work.

2. My accounts

One card per linked account, with a Test badge (My accounts).
Each card shows Net earnings, Sales and New fans for the last 30 days.
Clicking a card opens that account's page, with its Analytics and Earnings; the period buttons change both.
The notes "2 content requests are waiting for your decision" and "You have 2 open tasks from your agency" show, and their links open the right pages.

3. Content requests

Both requests are under Waiting for your decision (2); the overdue one shows "Overdue, was due …" (See your requests).
The request with a file lists it under Reference files on its page; Download saves it.
The first request is titled like "Custom video for Rob (demo_rob_t)" and its page shows Duration, Date tipped and Price as "tip + locked = total".
Approve request on the first one → Request approved., status Approved (Approve a request).
Decline request with an empty reason → Say why you're declining.; with a reason → Request declined., status Declined (Decline a request).
The note on My accounts is gone.
As the Administrator, the requests show Creator approved and Creator declined with the reason.
As the Administrator, click Mark sent on the approved request. Back as the creator, it is Sent and History says "Moved to Sent."
On an approved made-up Physical item, Show address shows the fan's address and Return address on the parcel shows the agency's. After the agency marks it sent, the button is gone. Ship an item

4. My tasks

Both tasks are under To do (2), the overdue one first, with High priority and the overdue date in red (See your tasks).
The task with a file shows File and Download in its panel.
Start → Marked as started.; Mark as done with a note → Marked as done., and the note shows in History (Start and finish a task).
As the Administrator, set the other task to Blocked: as the Creator it shows "Your agency paused this task…" and has no button.

5. My earnings

The four cards and How it adds up show, and the lines add up to the cent (My earnings).
Agency share (x%) uses the rate you noted; change the rate as the Administrator, reload, and the share follows.
With two accounts, All accounts shows By account with exact totals.
The Payouts box is there, and Weekly payouts lists only your accounts' weeks, with no paid column and no balance.

6. My calendar

The event for the linked account and the Visible to creators event show; the event for the other account doesn't (My calendar).
Open task and request due dates show as Task due and Content request.
There's no New event, Edit or Delete.

7. My analytics

The nine cards show for each period; Today shows A trend needs more than one day (Your numbers).
With two accounts, the account buttons and By account show.
No red, no down arrow and no negative percentage anywhere; a growth figure shows only when net earnings went up (Wins and growth).

8. Should be blocked

Type each address after the app's address, signed in as the Creator. Every one must show Page not found:

/dashboard, /creators, /financials, /reports (agency analytics)
/team, /team/access, /team/roles, /payroll (people and pay)
/requests, /my/requests, /calendar (staff requests and calendar)
/operations, /clients, /knowledge, /model-sheet, /settings/integrations
/my/posting, /my/schedule (other roles' work pages)
/preview/creator
Back to Heights Analytics on that screen takes you to My analytics.
With a second test creator login: opening one of the first creator's requests (copy its page address) shows Page not found.

9. No accounts linked yet

As the Administrator, unlink every account from the creator login (or use a second creator login with none). As the Creator, reload:

My accounts, Content requests, My earnings, My analytics and My calendar show No creator accounts yet.
My tasks still works.
Link the accounts again afterwards.

10. Sign out

Sign out asks you to confirm. Cancel keeps you signed in; Sign out takes you to the sign-in page.
Opening My accounts again asks you to sign in first.

11. My prices

See My prices. Ask an administrator to review your suggestion when you get to it.

Accounts → My prices shows your model's Prices table (or No prices yet).
Suggest changes, change one price, Send suggestion: Suggestion sent, and Your suggestion shows Waiting for approval with the change under Now and Suggested.
Send suggestion without changing anything shows These prices are the same as the current sheet. Change something first.
Change suggestion and send again: still one suggestion, with the new price.
Withdraw: Suggestion withdrawn, and the box is gone.
Suggest again; the administrator approves it: the table shows the new price and "Your last suggestion was approved on …".
Suggest again; the administrator doesn't approve it: Your last suggestion wasn’t approved, with their note.

Good to know

Quick look without signing in

An Administrator can see a creator's home page and to-do list, read-only, by typing /preview/creator after the app's address and picking the creator login. There's no menu item for it.

The test app never sends email, so nothing arrives in your inbox: check the notes on My accounts, the statuses and the History of each request or task instead. Numbers on My earnings and My analytics depend on what has been picked up from the platform for the test accounts; if they show No numbers synced yet, test the empty states instead.
