See your tasks
Your to-do list from the agency, open tasks first.
What it's for
When the agency needs something from you, like signing a contract or sending new photos, they give you a task. My tasks is your to-do list: what to do, by when, and any file that comes with it.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Creator. Your to-do list works even before your accounts are linked.
- The agency has given you at least one task. Until then, the page says No tasks yet — "When your agency asks you to do something, like signing a contract or sending new photos, it shows up here."
Steps
Open My tasks
In the menu on the left, click Management → My tasks. You can also click See your tasks in the note at the top of My accounts.
Look at what's still to do
Under To do (with the number of open tasks in brackets) are the tasks that aren't finished yet, the soonest due first (tasks without a due date come last, and high priority comes first when two are due the same day). When every task is finished, it says "You're all caught up."
Finished tasks are listed under Done, a little faded. Tasks the agency cancelled are listed under Cancelled.
Read a card
Each card shows:
- the task's title and its status: To do, In progress, Blocked, Done or Cancelled;
- the first lines of the instructions;
- the due date, such as "Due Wed, Oct 22", or in red "Overdue, was due Wed, Oct 22" once the date has passed;
- the account it's about, if you have more than one account;
- High priority when the agency marked it urgent;
- a paperclip when a file comes with it.
Open a task
Click a card. A panel slides in from the right with:
- the title, and a line with the due date, the account and the priority (for example "Due Wed, Oct 22 · Jane Example · Normal priority");
- the status, and Overdue in red when it's late;
- the full instructions (or "No instructions.");
- File, with a Download button, when the agency attached one;
- the box and button to move the task on (see Start and finish a task);
- History: each step, signed You or Your agency, with the date and time (ET).
Close the panel with the × at the top right or by pressing Escape.
What the statuses mean
| Status | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| To do | New: you haven't started yet. |
| In progress | You've started it. |
| Blocked | The agency paused it: "Your agency paused this task. They'll let you know when it can go on." Nothing to do for now. |
| Done | Finished. |
| Cancelled | The agency called it off. Nothing to do. |
What you should see
- The title My tasks and the line "Work assigned to you, soonest due first."
- Only your own tasks.
- In History, the agency's steps in plain words, such as "Gave you this task.", "Updated the task.", "Attached a file.", "Removed the file." or a status change like "In progress → Blocked." No staff names or staff comments.
Test checklist
Good to know
Only the agency can create, change, pause or cancel a task. You can't add files to a task; if the agency asks for photos or a signed document, send them the way the agency tells you in the instructions.
For testers
To give the creator a task, sign in as an Administrator (Management → Tasks → New task) or a Manager (Management → My tasks → Task for a creator) in another browser and pick the creator login as the person.
