My shifts
Tell your manager which days you can work, and see the shifts you are rostered on.
What it's for
Each week you tell your manager which days you can work and which days you are off, like the old "Off Days" sheet. Your manager then puts you on creator pages for one of the shifts (for example 3AM – 11AM, 11AM – 7PM or 7PM – 3AM, New York time). This page shows both: your availability for a week, and the shifts you are rostered on this week and next week.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Manager.
- Your login is linked to an employee profile. If it isn't, the page says "Your login is not linked to an employee profile yet, so you can't send availability." Ask an administrator.
Steps
Open My shifts
In the menu on the left, click Operations → My shifts. The title is My shifts.
Check the week
The page opens on next week (Monday to Sunday, New York time). Use the arrows (Previous week, Next week) or the date box to pick another week. Next week brings you back.
The card says when the week is due: Friday 11:59 PM New York time, before the week starts. You can still send it after that, but it is marked Late.
Mark each day
For each day, choose Can work or Off. Days you can work turn green; days off turn red.
A day with approved time off already says Off — time off approved with a lock: you can't change it. A day with time off for only part of the day says "Time off approved for part of the day."
Pick preferred shifts (optional)
Under Preferred shifts (optional), tick the shifts you like to work. Your manager sees them; it is a wish, not a booking.
Give a reason
If any day is Off (other than approved time off), write why in Reason. "Please provide a reason for any day off."
Send it
Click Send availability (or Update availability if you already sent this week). A message says it was saved, and the badge next to the title changes to Submitted (or Submitted late).
What you should see
- The badge Submitted, Submitted late or Not submitted next to the week, and "Last sent …" with the date and time.
- If your manager wrote feedback, a box Feedback from your manager shows it above the days.
- Below the form, two lists: This week and Next week. Each shift shows the Day, the Shift, the Creator page and the New York time. If your profile has another time zone, a Your time column shows the same shift in your own time.
- With no shifts yet: No shifts yet — "Your manager has not put you on the roster for this week yet."
Test checklist
Good to know
The overnight shift belongs to the day it starts: "Monday 7PM – 3AM" ends early on Tuesday. Sending your week changes nothing in your pay. You can fill in up to 8 weeks ahead.
If your agency has switched on availability reminders, you get an email on Thursday morning when next week's availability isn't in yet.
