Decline a request
Say no to a custom request, with a short reason for the agency.
What it's for
If you can't or won't make what a fan bought, decline it. The agency sees your reason and takes care of the fan (for example they let the fan know, or offer something else).
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Creator, with at least one account linked.
- A request for one of your accounts has the status Submitted and nobody has decided on it yet. It's listed under Waiting for your decision on Content requests.
Steps
Open the request
Click Operations → Content requests, then click the request under Waiting for your decision.
Start declining
In the Your decision card, click Decline request. A pop-up window opens: Decline this request? — "Your agency sees your reason and lets the fan know."
Give your reason
In Reason (required), write a short reason, for example "I can't film until next week". It must be at least 3 characters and at most 500.
Confirm
Click Decline request in the pop-up window (it reads Declining… for a moment). Changed your mind? Click Cancel instead: nothing is saved.
What you should see
- A message at the bottom right: Request declined.
- The status changes to Declined.
- The Your decision card now says "You declined this request on" the date and time (ET), with your reason under it.
- History gets a new line, "Creator declined:" followed by your reason, signed You.
- Back on the list, the card shows "You declined".
- On the agency's side, the request shows Creator declined and your reason.

Good to know
A declined request is final for you. Only the agency can reopen it; when they do, it comes back to Waiting for your decision and you can choose again.
