Strikes
Read the monthly strike tracker. Managers can look, but only an administrator records strikes.
What it's for
A strike is a written record of a mistake: someone was lazy, didn't show up (AWOL), was late, was careless, faked their activity or messed up big time. The Strikes page works like the monthly strike sheet: one row per person, their Strike 1, Strike 2 and Strike 3 for the month, the total and a status. It is a record only: a strike never changes anyone's pay or status, and nothing happens automatically at 3 strikes. Chatters and the other staff roles can't open this page.
As a Manager you can read the strikes: everyone's, other managers' and your own too. Only an administrator records, edits or voids them. When you report a strike, the administrator can put your name on it as the Manager.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Manager.
- An administrator has recorded at least one strike. If there is none this month, the page says No strikes in the month (such as "No strikes in October 2026").
Steps
Open the page
In the menu on the left, click Management → Strikes. The title is Strikes. Under it: "A record of employee mistakes. It never changes pay or status, and employees do not see it."
The page opens on the Month tab, on this month. The other tab, All strikes, lists every strike.
Pick a month (optional)
Use the arrows on each side of the month box to go to the previous or next month, or pick a month in the box. You can't go past this month.
Read the three boxes
At the top you see three numbers for the month, counting only strikes that still count (not voided):
- Strikes in the month: how many strikes.
- People with strikes: how many people have at least one.
- At 3 strikes: how many people have 3 or more. The box turns orange when it is more than 0.
Read the month table
Each row is one person with a strike that month:
- #, Employee and Manager (the manager of their latest strike that month).
- Strike 1, Strike 2 and Strike 3: the manager who reported it (or "No manager"), the date and the types (Lazy, AWOL, Late, Negligence, Activity Spoofer, Messed Up Big time; older strikes can show Conduct, Policy breach or Other). A fourth strike or more shows as "+1 more".
- Total and Current status: Active – 1 strike, Active – 2 strikes or 3 strikes – review. Someone no longer working shows Inactive or Terminated.
The app numbers the strikes by date inside the month, and each month starts again from zero. Turn on Everyone to add every working employee, with 0 strikes – Active for people with none.
Download the month (optional)
Click Export CSV to download the month as a spreadsheet, with the same columns as the strike sheet.
Read the full list (optional)
Click All strikes. Four boxes count every strike that still counts: Active strikes, This month, At 3 strikes and People with strikes. Type a name in Search employee… to keep only that person's strikes, and tick Show voided to see strikes an administrator cancelled, with the reason.
Each row shows the Date, the Employee, the Types, Reported by (the manager), the Notes (and "Voided:" with the reason, for a voided strike) and who recorded it (Recorded by).
What you should see
- The month table, and on All strikes the strikes of every employee, newest first.
- No Record strike button, and no Edit or Void button on the rows.
- If the month has no strikes: No strikes in the month. On All strikes, if there are none: No strikes recorded; if your search finds nothing: No strikes match. All add "Strikes are a record only: they never change pay or status."
Test checklist
Good to know
To record a strike, tell an administrator what happened, when, and which types apply. A strike can't be deleted, only voided with a reason.
3 strikes – review only means "an administrator should look at this". The app never takes action by itself.
The page says "employees do not see it". That is true for chatters and the other staff roles. As a Manager you see the strikes of everyone on the team, other managers' and your own too.
