Payroll reports
All-time payroll totals, the last 13 weeks, the top paid employees and every past week.
What it's for
Payroll reports gives you the big picture of payroll: how much has been paid in total, what is still owed, how the last 13 weeks compare and the history of every week. From here you can also export a summary and import past payroll.
Before you start
- You're signed in as an Administrator.
- At least one payroll week has been generated (see Payroll). Otherwise the cards show $0 and the lists are empty.
Steps
Open the page
Go to People → Payroll and click Reports at the top right. The title is Payroll reports: "All-time totals, the last 13 weeks and payment history."
Read the totals
Four cards at the top. They are rounded to the whole dollar (no cents):
- Paid all time: every payment marked Paid.
- Outstanding ("Pending + approved"): what is calculated or approved but not paid yet.
- Bonuses and Deductions: every bonus and every deduction typed so far, whatever the status.
Compare the last weeks
Last 13 weeks ("Total due per week (paid portion highlighted).") shows one bar per generated week, with its date and total. The part already paid is highlighted. Empty: No payroll weeks yet.
Top paid employees lists the 8 people paid the most, each linking to their profile ("Former employee" if the profile is gone). Empty: No paid payments yet.
Open a past week
Payroll history lists every generated week with Week, Employees, Total due, Paid (how many lines are paid) and Status: Open, Approved or Complete. Click a week to open it on the Payroll page.
Export or import
- Export report downloads a spreadsheet file (CSV) with one row per week: week start and end, status, employees, total due, paid, outstanding and the number of paid lines.
- Import history opens Import payroll history.
- Recent imports ("Historical payroll imported from spreadsheets.") lists each import, for example "Payroll 2026 (Google Sheets) · 2 imported, 1 skipped ·" and the date. Empty: No imports yet.
What you should see
- The totals agree with the weeks: Paid all time plus Outstanding equals the total due of every week, without skipped lines.
- A week whose lines are all Paid or Skipped shows Complete in Payroll history.
Test checklist
Good to know
- The page never starts a sync and doesn't depend on Infloww: it only adds up what is on the payroll weeks.
- The agency-wide Employee pay report on Reports shows pay per employee from approved and paid payroll.
