Days you can still change
This week and last week stay open; older days are closed, and the future is never open.
What it's for
You can go back and fix a day you forgot, but only for a short time. This week and last week are open (weeks run Monday to Sunday, Eastern Time). Everything older is closed, and you can never log a day that has not happened yet.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Social Media VA and you are on Operations → My posting.
Steps
Go to an older day
Click the left arrow a few times, or pick the day in the date box (it shows the date).
Read the text next to the date
An open day shows only the day and · ET. A closed one adds · closed.
Come back to today
Click Today, which appears next to the arrows whenever you are not on today.
What you should see
On a closed day:
- the line under Assigned accounts reads Read-only for this day.;
- the numbers are still there to read, but the minus and plus buttons do nothing and the box cannot be typed in;
- there is no Save counts button, no Submit report button and no Report an account issue button;
- your old notes are still readable in the Notes box.
For the future: the right arrow is greyed out while you are on today, and the date box does not accept a later day.
Rules
- Open days run from the Monday of last week up to today.
- Every Monday, one more week closes. On a Monday you can go back 7 days. On a Sunday you can go back 13 days.
- Weeks and days follow Eastern Time, not your own clock.

Good to know
Known issue: nobody can correct a closed day
There is no screen where an administrator can change a closed day either. You can't change a closed day. Log your posts on the day you work them, or at the latest during the following week.
A closed day is only closed for changes. It keeps counting in Recent submissions, and the posts you saved still count for pay.
