Your shift, step by step
What My posting shows, and the order of a normal shift.
What it's for
My posting is the page you land on and the only page you need during a shift. It holds the accounts you post on, the counter where you write down your posts, what you earned, and your end-of-shift report. Everything on it is about one day at a time.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Social Media VA.
- An administrator has given you at least one account to post on. Without that, the page shows No accounts assigned yet and Ask an admin to assign you the accounts you post on.
Steps
Open My posting
In the menu on the left, click Operations → My posting. The page opens on today.
Check the day
Above the cards there is a row with two arrow buttons, a date box (it shows the date) and the text Today · ET. All dates and times in the app are Eastern Time (ET), whatever time zone you are in. Leave it on today while you work.
Do your posting
Post on each account as usual, in the platform's own app. The app does not post for you and does not count your posts by itself.
Write down your posts
In the Assigned accounts card, set the number of posts you made on each account, then click Save counts. You can do this once at the end, or a few times during the shift. See Log your posts.
Flag any account problem
If something went wrong on an account — a ban, a restriction, a login that no longer works, a post that was removed — click Report an account issue. See Report an account issue.
Send your end-of-shift report
Write a line or two in Notes and click Submit report. See End-of-shift report.
What you should see
The page is titled My posting, with the line Log your posts per account, see what you earned, and send your end-of-shift report. Under the day row there are four cards:

| Posts today | Your posts that day against your total daily target, as 3 / 5. The hint says Made / needed, or No daily target set when no account has a target. |
| Posts this week | The same for the week, hint Made / needed, Mon–Sun ET. |
| Earned today | What that day's posts earned, in dollars. |
| Earned this week | The week's total, hint Paid through weekly payroll. |
Below them: the Assigned accounts card with one box per account, the End-of-shift report card, the Account issues this day card, and Recent submissions with your last four weeks.
On another day than today, the two card titles change to Posts this day and Earned this day, and the text next to the date shows the day, for example Wed, Oct 22 · ET.
Test checklist
Good to know
The day never follows your own clock: it follows Eastern Time. If you work late in the evening in another time zone, check which day is open before you count.
Removed accounts
Posts today adds up the boxes you see. Posts you saved on an account that was later removed from you are still paid, so they stay in Posts this week.
Nothing is counted automatically
The app does not read the social platforms. If you don't write your posts down, nobody sees them and they don't pay.
