The accounts you post on
What an assignment is, where your targets come from, and what each box shows.
What it's for
You don't choose the accounts you post on. An administrator sets up each social account and assigns it to you, with a daily target of posts. Those assignments are what you see in the Assigned accounts card: one box per account. This page explains what is in a box and who can change it.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Social Media VA and you are on Operations → My posting.
- An administrator has assigned you at least one account.
Steps
Find the Assigned accounts card
It sits under the four number cards. The line under the title says Mark how many posts you made on each account, then save.
Read one box
Each box shows the platform's logo in a circle on the left. Next to it, from top to bottom: the account name, the platform name (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Facebook), then one line with the target and the money. The boxes are ordered Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and by name inside each platform.
Check your target
The line reads Target 5/day when the administrator set one, or No target when they didn't. The target is per account, per day.
What you should see
- Account names appear with an @ in front, for example @jane.example. Facebook pages and YouTube channel ids appear as the administrator typed them.
- Next to the target is what that account earned on the day you are looking at, for example $2.00.
- If you reported a problem on an account and nobody has resolved it yet, a red badge with the kind of problem sits in the corner of the box — for example Ban or Login issue.
- With nothing assigned to you, the whole page is replaced by No accounts assigned yet and Ask an admin to assign you the accounts you post on.
Rules
- You only see accounts that are assigned to you and switched on. When an administrator removes your assignment, or switches the account off, the box disappears from your page. Posts you already saved stay saved.
- Posts today compares the day's posts with the total of your accounts' daily targets. Two accounts with targets of 3 and 2 make a total of 5 a day.
- Posts this week counts the days that have already happened. With a total target of 5 a day, the week needs 5 on Monday, 10 on Tuesday, 15 on Wednesday, and 35 for a whole past week.
- Every post pays the same, whatever the platform or the account: one per-post rate for you, set by an administrator on your employee profile.
Test checklist
Good to know
Targets are a goal, not a limit. You can save more posts than the target, and the box then shows a Target met badge. Nothing blocks you and nothing is refused.
Removed accounts
Posts today adds up the boxes you see. Posts you saved on an account that was later removed from you are still paid, so they stay in Posts this week.
Who to ask
Accounts, assignments, targets and your per-post rate are all administrator work. Ask an administrator, or send a request from My requests, if something looks wrong.
