Report an account issue
Tell the administrators when an account is banned, restricted or locked you out.
What it's for
When something goes wrong on an account — it is banned, restricted, shadowbanned, a post was removed, the login stopped working — you report it here. The administrators work from that list. If you don't report a problem, nobody fixes it. Your note also explains why that account has few posts or none.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Social Media VA and you are on Operations → My posting.
- The account is one of yours, and the day you are on is still open.
Steps
Open the form
In the End-of-shift report card, click Report an account issue. A pop-up window opens, titled Report an account issue. Under the title it says which day it is about, and Urgent issues (bans, logins) are marked urgent on the admins' board.
Choose the account
Open Account and pick one. The list holds only the accounts assigned to you, each shown as its platform's logo, platform and name, for example Instagram @jane.example.
Say what happened
Open What happened and pick the closest one: Ban, Restriction, Shadowban, Content removed, Login issue, Platform bug or Other.
Set the severity
Severity starts at Low. Choose High (urgent) for anything that stops you posting at all, such as a ban or a login that no longer works.
Add the details and send
In Details, answer the hint: What did you see? Since when? Then click Report issue. Cancel closes the window without saving.
What you should see
- A green message: Issue reported. An admin will follow up. The pop-up closes.
- The problem appears in the Account issues this day card, with the platform and account, a badge such as Ban · Open, and your details underneath.
- A red badge with the same word appears in that account's box in Assigned accounts.
- Once an administrator has dealt with it, the badge reads Resolved, their answer appears after Admin:, and the red badge on the account box disappears.
- If you choose nothing, the form says Choose an account. under Account and Choose what happened. under What happened.
- On a day with nothing reported, the card says No issues reported for this day.
Rules
- You can only report a problem on an account that is assigned to you.
- Each report is about one account and one day. Report as many as you need.
- An account keeps its red badge on every day you look at, until an administrator resolves the problem.
- Reports on closed days are not possible: the button is gone. See Days you can still change.

Good to know
Urgent reports are emailed
When you choose High (urgent), every administrator who manages posting gets an email with the account, the issue and your details. Low reports only show on their posting board. An administrator can switch the urgent email off in Settings → Emails. For a ban or a lost login, message an administrator yourself as well.
Administrators see your reports with the urgent ones at the top, and they close one by writing how it was resolved. That answer is what you read after Admin:.
