Log your posts
Write down how many posts you made on each account, and see what they earned.
What it's for
This is how the agency knows what you did, and how your posts turn into money. For each account you set the number of posts you made that day and save it. Nothing is counted for you.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Social Media VA and you are on Operations → My posting.
- The day you want is open: today, or any day in this week or last week (Monday to Sunday, ET). See Days you can still change.
- You have already posted on the accounts.
Steps
Pick the day
Normally leave it on today. For an earlier day, click the left arrow or choose the day in the date box (it shows the date). The text next to it shows which day you are on.
Set the number for each account
In the Assigned accounts card, each box has a minus button, a number and a plus button. Click plus once per post, or type the number straight into the box. The number is the total for that day on that account, not something you add to.
Save
Click Save counts. While it works, the button reads Saving….
What you should see
- While a change is not saved yet, Unsaved changes appears next to the button. Before you change anything, Save counts is greyed out.
- After saving, a green message appears at the bottom right: Saved 4 posts. — the total of all your accounts for that day.
- The money next to each account, Earned today and Earned this week all follow the new numbers.
- An account that reaches its target gets a Target met badge next to its number.
- If your per-post rate is missing, a warning sits above the card: Your per-post rate is not set (or No per-post rate for this day) and Posts are still recorded. Earnings show $0.00 until an admin sets your rate.
Rules
- Earnings are your posts multiplied by the per-post rate that applied on that day: 4 posts at $0.50 a post is $2.00. If an administrator changes your rate later, days before the change keep the old rate.
- Saving replaces the day's number for that account. Save 3 in the morning and 5 in the evening, and the day holds 5, not 8.
- One account can hold at most 1,000 posts on one day, and never less than 0.
- You can save as often as you like while the day is open.
Test checklist
Good to know
Your saved posts go into payroll by themselves. When an administrator prepares the week's payroll, the app counts your saved posts × your per-post rate of each day. If you change a day after your payroll week was approved, the approved amount does not change: ask an administrator.
Made a mistake?
Just correct the number and save again, as long as the day is still open. Older days are closed — see Days you can still change.
