Add a content drop
Put a content drop on the shared calendar so the team (and the creator, if you choose) can see it.
What it's for
A content drop is a date when new content goes out on a creator's account, for example a new photo set or a big mass message. Adding it to the calendar lets the whole team plan around it. Schedulers can add content drops only: other types of event (deadlines, payouts, meetings) are added by administrators and managers.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Scheduler.
Steps
Open the calendar
Click Operations → Calendar. To start on a given day, click that day in the grid first.
Start a new event
Click New event at the top right. A panel opens on the right of the page: New event, with the line Dates and times are Eastern Time (ET).
Give it a title
Type a short Title, for example "Jane Example: beach set". Up to 200 characters.
Check the type
Type is set to Content drop and can't be changed. Under it: You can add content drops only.
Choose the day or the time
- All day is ticked by default. Choose Start date (ET) and End date (ET). For a one-day drop, keep both on the same day.
- Untick All day to set a time instead. Choose Starts at (ET) (it starts at 9:00 AM on the chosen day). A timed event has a start time only, no end time.
Add details
- Description (optional): what drops, links, anything the team should know. Up to 2,000 characters.
- Creator account (optional): pick the creator's account, or keep No creator. That creator sees the event in their portal.
- Visible to creators (optional): Every creator sees it, e.g. an agency-wide deadline or payout.
Save
Click Add event. The button shows Saving… for a moment. Click Cancel to close without saving.
What you should see
- The panel closes and a message says Event added.
- The drop shows on its day(s) in the grid, in the Content drop colour, and in Upcoming if it's in the next 30 days.
- Every staff member sees it on their calendar.
- If you picked a Creator account, that creator sees it on their My calendar (if they have a login). If you ticked Visible to creators, every creator sees it.

Good to know
Visible to creators shows the event to every creator, not only the one it's about. For a drop on one creator's account, pick that Creator account and leave Visible to creators unticked.
The Creator account list only shows when the agency has creator accounts in the app.
