Report an issue
Flag a task you can't schedule, so an administrator can fix it.
What it's for
When something stops you from scheduling a task, report an issue. For example: the content folder is empty, the caption is wrong, you can't log in to the account, or the account is restricted. The task stays in your queue with the status Issue until you resolve it.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Scheduler.
- You have a task with the status Pending. You can't report an issue on a task that is already Scheduled, Issue or Cancelled.
Steps
Open the task
On My schedule, click the task's account name to open its panel.
Start the report
Below the details, click Report issue (next to Mark scheduled). The form changes.
Describe the problem
In What is the problem?, write what's wrong and what you need. Use at least 5 characters (up to 500).
Send it
Click Report issue. To go back without reporting, click Back.
What you should see
- A message: Issue reported. The task stays in your queue until it is resolved.
- The panel closes. The task's status is Issue (red).
- The Issues open card goes up by one. The task shows in the Today view, whatever its day. A task from a later day shows there under its own date (for example Thursday, Oct 23), not under today.
- Notes and history has a new line with the ET time, your name and Issue: followed by your text.
- The administrators see it on their Scheduling board, with a red count of open issues next to your name.
- On the Calendar, the task shows as Scheduled content with an Issue badge.
Test checklist
Good to know
The administrator who created the task gets an email about your issue, with your note. If they no longer have a login, every scheduling administrator gets it instead. An administrator can switch this email off in Settings → Emails; then they only see it on their Scheduling board. If it's urgent, tell an administrator directly as well.
When the problem is fixed, resolve the issue.
