Read the calendar
See the agency's deadlines, content drops, payouts, time off and meetings month by month.
What it's for
The Calendar puts the agency's dates in one place: deadlines, content drops, payouts, leave and meetings, plus dates from your own work. Use it to plan your scheduling around what's coming.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Scheduler.
- For a full test, some events exist this month. An administrator or a manager can add any type of event; you can add content drops (see Add a content drop).
Steps
Open the calendar
In the menu on the left, click Operations → Calendar. The title is Calendar, with the line Deadlines, content drops, payouts, time off and meetings in one place.
Move between months
Use the arrow buttons (Previous month and Next month) and Today to come back to this month. The month's name shows next to them, with Times in ET: all times on the calendar are Eastern Time.
Read the month
Each row is a week, from Monday to Sunday. Today is highlighted. A day shows up to 3 items, then for example +2 more. Under the grid, a legend shows the colour of each type: Deadline, Content drop, Payout, Leave, Meeting, Other, and Read-only date from another page (a dashed outline).
Read the list on the side
Upcoming lists the next 30 days, grouped by day (today's group says · Today). Click a day in the grid to list only that day: the heading becomes the date, for example Wednesday, October 22. Click Show upcoming to go back.
Show one type only
Open the type list (it says All types) and pick a type, for example Content drop, or under From your work one of your read-only dates, such as Scheduled content. Pick All types to see everything again.
Open an item
Click an item. A panel opens on the right of the page with its title, its date and time (for example Wednesday, October 22 · All day or Wednesday, October 22 · 2:30 PM ET), its type, the badge Visible to creators if every creator can see it, Account: and a creator's name if it's about one account, and its description.
What you should see
- Every event in the agency, whoever created it. All staff see the same events.
- Dates from your own work, with a dashed outline (see Your dates on the calendar).
- A New event button at the top right, because Schedulers can add content drops.
- Edit and Delete buttons only in the panel of a Content drop. Other events have none.
- When the next 30 days are empty: Nothing in the next 30 days. When a picked day is empty: Nothing on this day.
Test checklist
Good to know
- When nothing is coming up, the empty list says Use “New event” to add a content drop.
