Resolve an issue
Finish a task that had an issue, once the problem is fixed.
What it's for
A task with an issue waits in your queue until you finish it. Once the problem is fixed (for example the administrator added the missing photos), you schedule the content and mark the task scheduled, saying how it was solved.
Before you start
- You're signed in as a Scheduler.
- You have a task with the status Issue (see Report an issue).
Steps
Find the task
On My schedule, issues always show in the Today view. Issues from earlier days are under Needs attention. You can also pick Issue in the status list.
Open it and read the notes
Click the task's account name. Read Notes and history to see what was reported and any note from the administrator.
Schedule the content
Schedule the content on the creator's account as usual.
Say how it was resolved
The note box is now called How was it resolved?. Write what happened, for example "Admin added the photos". It's optional. Check Actual scheduled time.
Save
Click Mark scheduled (or Save & next).
What you should see
- A message: Marked as scheduled.
- The status is Scheduled and the Issues open card goes down by one.
- Notes and history has a new line with Resolved: and your text (or just Resolved if you left it empty).
Test checklist
Good to know
If the problem can't be fixed, ask an administrator to change the task or cancel it. Only an administrator can cancel a task.
